D.M. Flynn writes dark fantasy featuring intelligent dragons, dangerous magic, and heroes who tend to make questionable decisions under pressure.

She lives in Northern California, where she writes about void magic and ancient conspiracies while serving as a stay-at-home mom to three young kids, which is a 24-hour on-call position with no pay and very limited vacation time.

 

She homeschools, drinks her tea before it goes cold if she’s lucky, and spends an unreasonable amount of time designing fictional bloodlines.

A former graphic and website designer, she created this site and its visuals herself, because apparently building entire fictional worlds was not enough.

She believes magic should have rules, villains should have logic, and power should come with consequences.
